I wrote this song quite a while ago while I was struggling with mental illness. The people around me wanted to help me, but didn’t really know how. I noticed most people tried to solve it for me, while all I really needed was someone to tell me it was okay to not be okay. Emotions need to be felt. Mental illness doesn’t have a quick fix. The song helped me and my family a lot, I hope it can do the same for you.
